DIt is of utmost importance to us that a processing of your personal data does not violate your privacy. The following explanations will inform you how ArabellaSheraton Hotels handles your personal data. These principles will be adjusted from time to time e. g. in case of change of legislation or processing. ArabellaSheraton will undertake the appropriate effort to process your personal data in compliance with the legal provisions and on the highest level of data security.
Personal data
Every handling of personal data is covered by the various Data Protection laws. Personal data means any information relating to your person, in particular with reference to your behaviour or your characteristics. In any case the term “personal data” covers your name, postal address and telephone number as well as information concerning your reservations and stays, specific preferences and interests as well as data resulting from the use of our online-offers (Internet) as far as this information can directly or indirectly be related to your person.
Processing and use of personal data
At the time when we collect your personal data we inform you about the use of these data. If the personal data are not necessary for the reservation or booking you can decide which personal data we shall receive. In any case we will act in compliance with the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, BDSG) as well as the Teleservices Data Protection Act (Teledienstedatenschutzgesetz, TDDSG) or any other relevant national data protection legislation.
In order to handle your reservation or booking we need your name, address and communication data. The company operating the hotel as well as ArabellaSheraton Hotel Management Ltd. will store these data and use them primarily for the performance of the contract. Within the legal framework the respective Hotel Company and ASH will use these data for sending further information about offers of ArabellaSheraton, joint companies and cooperation partner. We only want to send you information of that kind you are probably interested in. We do not pass on your personal data to any other third party.
Online-Offers
On the website of ArabellaSheraton Hotelmanagement Ltd. we only collect personal data if you voluntarily decide to enter the data or you explicitly express your consent to the use of these data. They will be used solely for the purpose mentioned there.
If you merely visit our websites, our web servers routinely store the IP-address of your Internet Service Provider, which website(s) you visit and date and duration of your visit. These data are analyzed for statistical purposes only. The data, or parts thereof, are not passed on to third parties. The data are used to find out about visitors’ preferences and to shape the sites in accordance with these preferences. A personalized analysis of these data cannot be made, since the IP-address cannot be related to a person by us.
